Ingredients

For the Salad:

  • Napa cabbage: 4 cups, thinly shredded.

  • Carrots: 2 medium, julienned or shredded.
  • Scallions: 4, thinly sliced.
  • Cilantro: 1/4 cup, chopped.
  • Toasted sesame seeds: 2 tablespoons (optional, for garnish).

For the Dressing:

  • Soy sauce: 1/4 cup.
  • Rice vinegar: 3 tablespoons.
  • Sesame oil: 2 tablespoons.
  • Honey: 1 tablespoon.
  • Fresh ginger: 1 tablespoon, grated.
  • Garlic: 1 clove, minced.
  • Vegetable oil: 1/4 cup.
  • Salt and pepper: To taste.

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

  • Cook the chicken breasts by poaching, grilling, or roasting until fully cooked. Let them cool, then shred into bite-sized pieces.

Step 2: Chop the Vegetables

  • Thinly shred the Napa cabbage, julienne the bell pepper and carrots, and slice the scallions. Place the vegetables in a large mixing bowl along with the shredded chicken.
