Ina Garten-Inspired Cranberry Martini (Non-Alcoholic)

Ina Garten-Inspired Cranberry Martini (Non-Alcoholic) - recipe card

A festive, ruby-red mocktail that captures the spirit of a classic cranberry martini without the alcohol. The tart cranberry and bright citrus are balanced by a touch of sweetness, while a hint of rosemary adds an aromatic, sophisticated finish. Serve chilled in a martini glass with a sugared rim and fresh cranberries for a stunning presentation.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cranberry juice cocktail, chilled
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (about 4 limes), chilled
  • 1/2 cup rosemary simple syrup (recipe below)
  • 1/4 cup orange juice, freshly squeezed, chilled
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • For the rosemary simple syrup:
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • For garnish:
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar, for rimming glasses
  • 4 fresh rosemary sprigs
  • 8 fresh cranberries

Instructions

  1. Make the rosemary simple syrup: In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat, add rosemary sprigs, cover, and steep for 15 minutes. Strain and cool completely. This can be made ahead and refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
  2. Chill four martini glasses in the freezer for at least 10 minutes. This ensures the drinks stay icy cold.
  3. Prepare the glasses: Run a lime wedge around the rim of each chilled glass and dip in a shallow dish of granulated sugar to coat lightly. Set aside.
  4. In a cocktail shaker, combine 1 cup cranberry juice, 1/2 cup lime juice, 1/2 cup rosemary simple syrup, and 1/4 cup orange juice. Add ice cubes, filling the shaker about 3/4 full.
  5. Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until the shaker is very cold to the touch and frosty on the outside. This dilutes and chills the drink perfectly.
  6. Strain the mixture into the prepared martini glasses, dividing evenly.
  7. Garnish each glass with a fresh rosemary sprig and two cranberries on a cocktail pick.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

Storage: The rosemary simple syrup can be stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. The mixed martini (without ice) can be prepared up to 1 day ahead and refrigerated; shake with ice just before serving. Freezing: Not recommended. Reheating: Not applicable. For a larger batch, multiply ingredients and mix in a pitcher; add ice to individual glasses just before serving.
