When you’re hosting Thanksgiving, oven space, counter space and your own time are all in short supply. These desserts are built for that reality: most need about 20 minutes of hands-on work, many bake in a single pan, and plenty are best made a day or two before the holiday.
You’ll find crowd-friendly bars, fruit crisps and easy cakes, a couple of creamy chilled desserts, and simple cookies and fudge for grazing. Pair one make-ahead option with something warm and fruity, and dessert is handled before the turkey even goes in.
